Was there a tinted clear housing headlight made for the 94+ jdm integra? Or just the regular clear housing headlight?

 

no tinted JDM headlamps...they were all clear

 

I`ve seen only one pair in my life , jdm itr smoke tint , saw the headlight about 4yrs ago!!!!

nope , just a ultra rare part found in Japan!!!

I questioned the owner, he said they are OEM but very rare. Sometimes called "titanium". I have yet to see them on any other car though, I strongly believe they are a DIY or Aftermarket.

Those look exactly like my OEM JDM 98 Spec HID headlights. I don't know why anyone thinks they look different or titanium, because they sure as hell don't to me.

I just purchased a set off e-bay. They were refered to as titanium housing. I guess they could be also called gunmetal.

 

Oh lord, those are not Integra "Type R" headlights but headlights off a lower model integra (like an Si or Style S) All JDM Rs came with clear lenses and dark gray housing. The others came with clear lenses and silver housing. Side note: in Japan, its illegal to tint headlamps. You can do a DIY job and the police will probably leave you alone, BUT no factory headlights on ANY model car in Japan came tinted.

 

They aren't rare...they are lot more common the the ITR headlamps

 

I always see black housing and chrome housing headlights. I hardly ever see these headlights so how are they more common?

yes they are common but you dont see to many b/c everyone wants the dark/black housing.

 

You mean these? These are not uber rare here. They are uber common...so common I can get them for $50 each. If they sell for $1000 in then states, then I'm going back in business.
