Its time to get an cat back exhaust system for my 02 accord. I am having trouble picking the best one for my car. I need something affordable but that will still add HP.

Anyone have suggestions. currently the car has a jdm cold air intake and DC headers and a performance chip. My stock exhaust is not cutting it.

Also are DC headers weldable. I have a two inch crack in them, or should I just buy new ones. They have lasted six years now.

 

i'm going to suggest something..........i did the whole cat-back on my 98..........don't waste your moeney on it.......unless you have already built the engine a catback is barely gonna do much for hp in daily driving....

unless you want it for the deep sound some cat-backs can achieve.........if i were todo it again i woulda put that 600 to a engine swap/build.

 

Thanks Ill keep that in mind. The main reason is that I have a chip and cold air intake and my exhaust cant handle it. Im getting a lot of black smoke and dust on my exhaust tip. Standard problem with stock exhaust.
