Blue smoke = burning oil. Could be deposits/grossness getting burned up [from injector cleaner]. Just hope it stops in a tank or two, and watch your oil level, and quality.
ok, thanks. also have two more questions,
Question 1)after i completed my swap i had two dip sticks for the oil level. but one was longer than the other. which one should i use? the longer or shorter one
Question 2)will 91 0ctane help pass smog, and or be better for my motor to run. it's been on 87 octane. i just wanted to see if higher octane will help it out. and not do anything bad to the motor.
question 3) i was previously running a motor with fried piston rings so it smoked black smoke really bad, should i change my cat converter before smog or should the old one be fine, i live in Sacramento California. thanks everyone

1) you should use the one that came out of the engine that is in your car now. What engine was in your car before and what is in there now?
2)doubtful
3)a new cat could never hurt, especially if it is ~20 years old. Though, if you are having that many problems with smoking, and the like, good luck passing smog.
I am happy I don't have to deal with them ***** where I live.

when i bought my hatch, it burned more oil than fuel, finally i had the chance when i burned a valve, i pulled my head and oil pan and did a short overhaul(rings, rod bearings, valve seals, and headgasket) with out pulling the engine, i never had a problem again, as a matter of fact i bought a crx for 100 bucks with a blown engine and when i did my swap on the hatch i stuck the engine in the crx, it's still running to this day
