Default B16 exhaust preference POST YOUR SETUP !!!

okay guys so i have a jdm b16a with intake and a nice 4-1 headers.

Problem is im running a stock single cam exhaust and i want my vtec to sound louder

Does anyone know whats the stock single cam exhaust size??

Im planning on doing 2.25 straight back no cats but keep the stock muffler tip to quiet it down a bit. Will it still sound loud?

If you want your VTEC to sound louder, use a cold air intake. The tip on the muffler does nothing to quiet sound, it is merely for looks and to clear the bumper of hot exhaust gases.

I've ran both a full Spoon system and T1-R. I actually prefer the T1-R, but the N-1 sounds delicious. If you do the T1-R, make sure you get their resonated test pipe...without it, it had a slight cackle. RSR EX-Mag would be another good option if you want more of a sleeper look.

-And just to let you know, you have a headeR, not headerS.

Ive had a Greddy evo2 on a b16 in my coupe and then had a Apexi WS2 on a b16 in a Ek hatch. The Greddy sounded good until i put in a test pipe then became very raspy. I like the Apexi WS2 its just a big change from the Greddy.
