I turned so hard mI-VTEC shut off...
It was crazy! Over took a legit DC2 ITR on a hairpin... until that happen. Anyways I might be comming up on a K20A ITR motor comming out of some shop in canada. This is what it comes with: complete engine, Exhaust manifold, Pullys, AC compressor, Coil pack, Alternator, fuel rail, All brackets an sensors, intake manifold, power steering pump, 6speed lsd tranny, an injectors. I think wiring harness an ECU too. Is there anything else i need when i swap this baby in? If it doesn't come with the wiring harness could i use my a3 harness?

and many other designs as well, it keeps the oil from going up the timing case, and leaving the pick up dry and creating a loss of oil pressure.. which can turn off your vtec, as well as implode your motor if held at high rpms.

If VTEC is cutting out mid-corner, then you're losing a large amount of oil pressure due either to low oil level, or sustained g forces causing all of the oil to pool away from the pump pick-up. I tend to believe the former.
I suggest you check your oil and add as needed before you blow it up or bend valves. Remember that the timing chain tensioner runs on oil pressure.
