I just purchased a set of kenwood tweeters with crossovers: http://www.crutchfield.com/p_113KFCT...ures_and_specs
I am planning on cutting a hole near the door handle and installing them there. But my question is how do i wire them. i've spent a lot of time trying to find answers but i'm not 100% sure on how to do it. do i just splice the front speaker wires and connect them there? Or is there a specific place to route them? - meaning where do the ex tweeter wires end up? on another site someone siad "More than likely you'll need to actually extend the factory wiring to the crossover and then from the crossover run the wires to the speaker and tweeter" i dont really now what he means by this. if it helps i have alpine type s speakers up front, type r sub in back wired to a sony 1200 watt amp. thanks for the help and can't wait to do this!

connect the crossover to the positive side if the tweeter then run speaker wire from the other end of the crossover to the positive side of the door speaker and the neg with the neg. hope that helps
Most tweeters are run in a component set up with the main wire coming from an amplifier to the crossover which splits the sound into mids and highs. Your link doesn't work BTW. It sounds like the guy on the other site was refering to extending the tweeter wires used for the OEM tweeters; however, I don't know if the Accord LX had stock tweeters and it depends on the trim. Your tweeters should have come with a matching crossover which would either be wired into your stock harness or amplified.
