Default Help with tweeter install. 97 lx

I just purchased a set of kenwood tweeters with crossovers: http://www.crutchfield.com/p_113KFCT...ures_and_specs

I am planning on cutting a hole near the door handle and installing them there. But my question is how do i wire them. i've spent a lot of time trying to find answers but i'm not 100% sure on how to do it. do i just splice the front speaker wires and connect them there? Or is there a specific place to route them? - meaning where do the ex tweeter wires end up? on another site someone siad "More than likely you'll need to actually extend the factory wiring to the crossover and then from the crossover run the wires to the speaker and tweeter" i dont really now what he means by this. if it helps i have alpine type s speakers up front, type r sub in back wired to a sony 1200 watt amp. thanks for the help and can't wait to do this!

this needs to go in the electronics section of this forum, however my heres my input. hook your front speaker wires now to that little blue box(looks liek a crossover) then from the little blue box to the tweeter and your front speakers

cheap ghetto way is to connect straight to front speakers, this will work but will not be able to control tweeters.

correct way is like said above, use a crossover. ive seen people put the crossover in the glove box.
