this is on a 92-95 civic quick question when installing the fuel filter there is a 10mm bolt up top of the filter and its inside a nut, do I need to turn the nut in one direction and the 10mm bolt in the other direction also what size is the nut?? Just wondering I changed one before but it was 2 yrs ago and I remeber ringing the bolt off...

 

Wasn't it a 17mm

Nice to see when someone pays attention to stuff like a fuel filter, I seen cars in my area that have around 200000 miles and original fuel filter like its a lifetime filter, lol.

 

ok i figured it out,turn the bolt under the 10mm nut, its 17 mm , dont mess with the 10mm on the top

 

Ya the 10mm on top is just to relieve pressure if i recall correctly, your suppose to do it with a towel over it.
