Default CT S/C Starting issues?

so i was just curious and was watching videos on youtube about the stage 2 kit from comptech and i came across videos about cold start issues such as this one

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7NmKN...eature=related

what is up with that?? does it have to do with the pulley being smaller that it makes the engine harder to start??

to be honest the pulley would not affect the starting at all. this retard prbably has a fuel issue as a result of the black sut coming out, it looks like the the motor in this vid is getting flooded since it is supercharged . but hey that is my opinion.

Im gonna hve to go with a fuel issue as well. I get the black stuff on my bumber too. Its from hitting vtec and with having H/E it doesnt help that situation.

Maybe the motor isnt getting enough fuel. Clogged injector, bad fuel pump ect.

my supercharged SiR b16 always had cold start issues. It was very hard to start in the winter if it had been sitting outside at work but never when leaving my house in a heat/cooled garage. I had read it had to do with the timing retard you have to run on a high compression/supercharged setup.

the way he is acting in the video he knows he has a fuel issue too because he kept priming the fuel pump my kit recommended a upgraded fuel pump which i got but i don't know if the K20 kit comes with one. it is also 8' celcius there too which is about 45 degrees my car always acted up under 50 degrees. really bad below freezing though.

but when you start your car, you're not using the fuel pump's full potential.
thats what im tripping about. i wonder if the stage 1 has the same problem?
