Ok well i have a 90 integra 4 door gs, with a gsr head and obd1 convertion and i tuned it with crome. I've had this setup for about 6 months now and it has ran fine. But recently it would die out when i was driving it. But it didn't do it very often So i figured it was the main relay. I changed the relay and i thought it was fine but like i said it only did i once in a while so couldn't tell. Well today it started doing it again. So i put another main relay in and still does it. The fuel pump is coming on like it should. but the thing is about 5 months ago the tps **** out so i unplugged it and haven't gotten around to changing it so the cel is always on but it runs fine. But i noticed when it does this the cel goes out wich is weird. the cel still turns on when i first turn the key till the fuel pump primes then it goes out like it normaly does but once i start it it stays out and it normaly comes back on. and if i am in the throttle for more then like 2 seconds it dies out till it gets to idle and than it will stay running. and it will let me rev it up again but only for like 2 second and it will sounds like i turn the key off till it dies down to idle and then it will do it again i tried reburning my chip but same thing and i put a stock p72 ecu in it and it still does it. i cant figure it out. but like i said the cel should be on because of the tps but it isnt. i tried jumping the harness to check the codes or to see if it was still throwing the tps code still and it is but once i unplug the jumper the cel goes out again. i don't know what to do. has this happend to anyone else

Could the tps and map sensor be switched around? You should change the tps sensor if you know it bad, try that and report back what happens.

 

its not the tps at all... its ran fine without the tps for like 5 months. the wires are defenetly not switched around it wouldn't even run at all like that. it idles fine when it does this. its just when i am in the gas for more then 2 or 3 seconds then it dies out till it gets to idle then i can rev it again but once again only for 2 or 3 seconds. and the cel goes out when it does this. it should be on due to the unplugged tps

 

is there anything else that is between the main relay and the ignition that Im missing or skipping over or between the ecu and main relay cuz the whole CEL not being on when it should be is making no sense
