So im going to be fabbing up a new exhaust for my rex and need some opinions. I want to make the exhaust as smooth as possible. Get rid of all the rasp i can, think small bore v6. Ok were not going to get there, but we can get close. Im thinking full 2.5in exhaust; In the center of the car, where my current muffler is and exits, i will have a primary muffler. Im thinking a mostly resonator type here, maybe the type that comes back on itself. Then going back and over the suspension. At the end i would do another tucked muffler, one that doubles back on itself then exits in stock location with a simple pipe and tip. Also possibly add a cherry bomb resonator along the lines.


Im just looking for the most subtle sounding exhaust i can get while giving good flow. The car is b18a powered so super flow isnt a huge deal, but nice.



Anyway feel free to post some suggestions or what were all really here for PICS! If you guys have done some great exhausts that sound badass please post up the specs and pic if possible video would be amazing for sound.

If anyone has some mufflers to reccomend go for it.

If anyone has some 'crazy' idea to accomplish the goal i have spit it out, this car is all about trying new stuff out. I will take any outside the box suggestions!
