Ignition clicks and it wont turn the engine!!
Well i've been building this car for a year now and the last thing that i wanted to od to it it was install the alarm so i did it, and everything was good till the day i pulled the car out, all of a sudden didnt wanted to start, so i put gas in it and it started after few tries, i already check and swapped the battery and nothing, the same thong with the starter, check known ground points and they all good, i uninstalled the two kill relays and nothing, it just make a click noise coming from the starter, it has good voltage, i turned the engine by hand few times and put it back in time and it tries to turn but very slow but at certain point stops and makes that click noise again, i need help so bad please, thanks in advance
Forgot to mention one of my buds came by to adjust my valves cuz they were knocking before all of this happen, can the cams get stuck with the rockers after a while of adjusting the valves???

have you double checked your timing? have you checked to see if you're getting spark? or if the rotor inside the dizzy is turning?
yeah i checked the timing but i havent check the rotor yet, ill try that i hope is not the dizzy cuz i've put so much money into this thing and i replaced almost every single gasket and maintenance part you can think of!
The easiest thing to do would be check for spark and then go from there! cause if you got spark then obviously the rotor is turning inside the dizzy. and if you're using an msd ignition box then make sure that the wires outta the dizzy are all connected correctly especially the ground! (if you don't know how to check for spark let me know)
Sounds like you have a draw some where. Which means you are not getting enough current to the starter to turn over the motor. A few things it could be. If the starter clicks really fast when you try to start it that means that the battery is to low turn it over. If thats the case then something is staying on while the car is sitting killing the battery. If when you are trying to start it and the starter click on and off when you turn the key on and off, that means that the points in the starter are bad and need to be replaced. I would try charging the battery and try starting it. if it starts you know what your problem is.
well like i said before i already charge my battery and is good always has been, i swapped it from my other car too, i check my starter and is good i swapped it too from another one and it does the same thing, it just pisses me off because it sounds like if is a ground somewhere like when u dont hook the ground from the battery and tranny thats what happens.
Anybody else??
Anybody else??
My friend and his cousin came thru to help me push start the car and it did right away so i know my battery and starter are working, but i got fond out that the starter is not gettin enough power and thats why is not able to crank the engine. i guess i'll have to check the wire point to point.
