FG2 rear seat side coat hanger spring broken
Hey guys, I have no idea how it happened but on my gf's coupe, 08 Si, the spring loaded coat hanger thing, on the pillar area in the back seat, seems to be broken. It's just hanging and won't spring back up. Anyone know anything on this? Would I need to disassemble the interior panels just to get back there? Someone help me...GF is absolutely pissed and I'm getting a *****ng lipbeat cause she's saying it's my fault, lol!
I can take a pic of what i'm talking about to clear things up...

hi, im a technician at a honda dealership here in memphis. i had to replace one on an 07 fg2 recently. that hook is built into that trim panel and after its broken (to where the spring wont retract it) the only option is to replace the panel. with it being an 08 i assume its still well within warranty. swing it by the dealer, its not an uncommon problem. hope that helped. <~~~steve
well guys the funny part is that i never uses the coat hanger and the thing just broke on my Civic SI and the hook just hang there now, all i remember is that i heard a noise then i realized the hook was dangling so i figure something broke from inside, what a quality material they used on this car i am starting to wonder.

Probably have to take off the rear panels to get to it.
