Default A/C doesn't work. Hissing from glovebox area

I recently had my a/c fixed and recharged (had a leak in one of the lines). It was fine for almost a month, then just yesterday i started hearing a hissing/gargling sound from under the passenger side dash and today it is blowing out warm air.

I had to get it fixed when i was out of town on vacation, so unfortunately i can't take it back to the same place.

Anyone know what would cause the hissing sound? It is definitely directly related to the problem and only occurs when the a/c is turned on.

Thanks

does it blow any air? Sounds like your blower motor

check if you have any freon in your lines. to see if there is still pressure. behind the glove box is your heater core and your ac stuff so something is broken there.

The leak the shop found was fixed, but maybe there is a smaller leak they missed.

I'll probably have to take somewhere that does free A/C inspections to see what's going on. I've never done A/C work and don't have the knowledge/equipment to fix it myself.

let me tell you something. never use the ac or radiator glue **** they sell. the glue will clog everything up and you will have to replace everything. never use the glue. the best way to fix a leak is to find it and buy a new line or condenser. check if you still have pressure in the lines. if its leaking there is no pressure and you have a hole somewhere.

I'm guessing the evaporator may have a leak. Mine did the same thing. It's right next to the blower motor.

Checked the pressure today and it was zero. I added some freon and it's working for now, but I'll have to track down the leak.

I'll be sure to check the evaporator.
