im just confused on which way the clutch goes back in cuz the center of the clutch where the spindle goes in is longer on one side then it is the other, what im wondering is which way will the longer side point? toward the engine or tranny? i hope that makes sense..
The one with longer side should be facing the transmission but it should say it on the clutch. heres a link it might help.

I don't trust XTD. To many people I know have got it, the same time I got my exedy, and most of them switched out because either the clutch warped, the pads cracked, of the clutch starts to slips. I never had a problem with the exedy. Still going strong for me. But thats IMO...
every xtd clutch ive seen has a crappy pressure plate with no peddle pressure so it didn't clamp the disk and it slipped. id stay away from xtd
i've heard mixed opinions on xtd clutches. i believe thats whats in my car. it was in it when i bought the car. all i can say, i that it is like putting your foot through a brick wall, and grabs like hell. if i ever decide to see what kind it is, should it turn out to be an xtd, i'd buy another one.
