hey my cousins friends is selling me his b16 tranny wit a blox lsd for 600 you think its worth it imma put it in my gsr what you guys think??

 

yea if u wanna goes fast shorter gears not to shabby of a deal specially if its legit

 

ok cool cause hes going to give me paper work all my friends say to grab it but im not sure i just want to get people opinions and ive driven the car its in and no grinds or anythin

b16 tranny no grinds with LSD? DEAL!

youll notice rpm pick up quicker the b16 tranny gears go prefect with the gsr. stock gsr with stock tranny the gears are just too long. IMO

just 5th is really short. sucks for commuting. but if you cruz at say 65-70 a lot its not too bad.

 

yea my friends got a b16 wit a ls vtec and his car is quick in the quarter but when were on the freeway it sucks buttt im sick of my tranny its goin out and i dont like the gears only like 5th but who knows mayb in the future ill get a tranny put together b16 1,2,3rd and gsr 4th and 5th with lsd i think that be a nice tranny but yea

get a LS 5th so u cruise at lower rpm but thats loats of moneys ur going to have to invest just for a stock put together trans

i have a gsr i didnt get it cause it had a light grind on 3rd and the vin was shaved and he didnt want to give me paper work

 

probably good call. Why are you changing out the gsr transmission?
