Why did you pull the motor to do just that? Did you do something else you didnt take pics of?

Agreed, what else was done? No need to pull the engine for a main seal, clutch or timing belt.

Well, if theres any greasy muck on the engine still, this is the best time to de-gunk it. Good luck with the new tranny!

Dealer replacement parts have different stampings for this reason. He shouldn't have any problems.
