i have a 2000 accord coupe, it was involved in a accident and im replacing the airbags and module but cant seem to find where the srs module is located, anyone know where?

 

i believe it's underneath the center console towards the dash ... next to the ecu

 

I'm pretty sure it's directly behind the center console, mounted to the top of the exhaust tunnel, close to the fire wall.

Sorry for the mess but I think you can see it's relation to the gas, brake & clutch peddles and the shifter.



This is for a 5th gen, but I'm pretty sure the 6th gen is in relatively the same position.

FYI All Honda cars use yellow electrical tape to tell the difference between other wiring harnesses and the SRS harnesses . DO NOT cut these wires. They are usually the same color and are a bitch to figure out how to reattach. Had a customer do that once.

 

Do you have any instructions on how to remove and replace the center console for 2009 CR-V, thanks
