ecu identification???????

ecu identification???????

okay i purchased a JDM P13, 4WS. off of ebay. he said it was for a stick. but then i get this ecu and i see it has 4 plugs instead of just 3. does this mean that this ecu came off of an automatic car? or what? what is that 4th plug for? anyone know? thanks

There is a label on the top face of the ECU. List EVERYTHING it says on the ECU label and I'll tell you if it is for a manual or an automatic...

I think the 4 plug ones are OBII Ecu's, not really sure though. My JDM p13 had 3 plugs and said 4ws onit, and also MT, for manual transmission..

the 4th plug is most likely just the connector for the 4WS

hey thanks 4bidden... i dont know anything about the 4ws... im clueless i didnt even know it had a plug... are u pretty sure thats what it is for?...

ill try and put up what the sticker on the ecu says tomorrow, its at my garage rite now, ill have to go get it... thanks guys.
