Changing transmission fluid? 2003 3.2TL
What does it take to change the tranny fluid? The car has 83K miles on it and now should be a good time. Is there a tranny filter? Do I just a bolt on the bottom of the tranny and let it drain and than refill through the dipstick hole? I've never messed with this car.
Yeah old thread I know but you do a 3x3 drain and fill. Thats drain 3 qts, fill it back up, and repeat for a total of 3 times. There is alot more info on acurazine.com.
BTW I just did this on my 02 TL-S and it actually improved shifting dramatically. Only use Honda/Acura ATF-Z1 fluid.
