is this possible? i found a set of wheels that are 5x120 that would nice on my car and i was curious if they could be redrilled to fit 4x100? might be a dumb question but im just unsure.

 

The wheel bore will be an issue, depending on the wheel's design. You'd be better off buying something else, or some adapters.

 

BMW Lug pattern, trying to put some BBS RSs?
Redrill them to 4x114, then get adapters to 4x114.
Else you'd be running some really thick adapters, or two-three adapters.

 

show me a picture of the wheel preferably back hub and front hub of the wheel.

With the wheel bore looking as big as it does in those pictures, it'd be very difficult to re-drill 4x100.

 

Don't bother redrilling those, tons of VWs and BMWs have them in 4x100.
EDIT: Miatas have them aswell.

 

oh yeah.. if i knew they were bbs rg i would of told you the same thing... just wait for a 4x100 set to come along.

i would buy adapters.. try to avoid re-drilling.. not safe for the rim and lose value unless you really love them.. but even buying adapters is sketchy if its not 4x100 its not meant for your car. in my opinion you will be sorry later.. thats just my feedback
