Default 92' Prelude Clutch?

My friends got a 92 prelude, when you shift into first or any gear and go to drive you let out the clutch and it seems as though nothing is engaging or is barely engaging. You can pop the clutch without any gas and it wont stall or anything, ease it out and gas it and it seems like the car trys to go forward but its like its tugging forward and every rotation of the flywheel im guessing it tries to catch, it nudges the wheels like an inch then slips.

Is this the clutch doing this? My friend got a stage 1 clutch from F1 Racing its got the pressure plate, clutch plate and alignment tool, weve got the car jacked up and bumper, fender and wheel off. Ready to take right control arm off and get that outta the way. Is there anything we should check first to make sure its the clutch? I mean we wanna put the new 1 in either way but I dont wanna end up changing it out and it still not workin.

Also if anyone can link to a clutch install how to or sumthin. Im gonna make my friend go buy a service manual as those things rock and are step by step.

Bingo.

It's definitely a worn, contaminated, or faulty clutch disc.
