Icon2 Help with b16a in CRX

I was running a jdm second gen b16a but I recently had a valve float and bye bye motor! I'm a starving student which i need the car up and runing asap, i dont have dough to spend on another second gen, therefore I am going down to the jdm first gen b16a.

Questions;

I herd that the first gen b16a cams are weak compared to the second gen b16a...is this true? If true, can i use my second gen b16a cams in the first gen? will this make any difference?

will i notice any major difference in power?

and is there anything else i can scrap from the second gen b16a that i can change over to my first gen that wont be costly?

Im swapping over my itr headers, the second gen b16a intake manifold and the hydro tranny to the first gen.

I doubt you would be able to notice any power gains. I have personally tried both cams and did see much improvement. The only b16 cams that will show improvement is from a ctr's b16b.

The 2nd gens have a slightly more agressive cam hence making ~10 flywheel hp more. You won't notice that difference on a butt dyno. Yes you can use them in your first gen b16.

Honda's don't have headers.....they have a header. Unless you got a boxer motor :-p
