Default Still learning but currently LOST!!!

I have the F22a1 in the 90 Accord. I have the basic bolt ons I/H/E and cat delete. I want to upgrade the intake manifold but I have been confused about which way to go. I have heard the H23 runners wont work without custom work and the H22 wont work either! Does anyone know if the A6 runners will bolt onto my motor without custom work or is that a must regardless? After I aquire the A6 runners, will the H23 throttle body attach to that with no problem. Just to sure I understand correctly, use the A6 runners and the H23 throttle body and a spacer? Is this upgrade worth all of the trouble, or is the gains minimal at most?

If I recall, the F22Ax has a good flowing head to begin with, you could probably port the TB out more with the stock IM.

You are probably better off getting valvetrain upgrades.

the H23A1 and F22A6 have the same port shape and bolt pattern so either runner section will bolt up to your F22A1 head just fine.

You can either go with a full H23A1 or F22A6 intake manifold. Or you can go with a F22A6 runner section and H23A1 plenum and throttle body.

and you don't need a throttle body spacer.

Thanks TouringAccord, you have brought a lot of clarity to absolute confusion.

the H23 plenum looks better than the A6. i've not done a side by side flow comparison so i can't really say which is difinitively better...

just this weekend i fitted an H23 manifold to an F22a head, i found that only slight modification is needed to port match the manifold. i don't know why so many say you're better off just getting the A6 so you won't have to modify it to work... that's not really what i'm seeing.
