Default Battery relocation question (cold weather)

I am going to use 0 gauge wiring running to the trunk, but my plan was to connect it to the power wires already in place up front. First, is this going to be a problem with an oddessey mini battery in a Colorado winter for start up? Next, what would be a reliable setup as far as wiring goes up front, so my car will still start up in the winter?

why in the trunk? if u going to use an OD battery, just get a relocator mount off of ebay instead of the PWJDM, they're like 35 bucks? dont quote me on that but i know theyre cheap. and if u have a system like me, OD batteries wont work. if u were using an optima battery or regular wet cell, i would understand putting it in the trunk with a secure tie down or box but not for an OD battery. just my .02

I have the whole set up to put it in the trunk including the mounting bracket. I just wanted to simplify my engine bay and my odessey battery was completely free! I dont have anything else that would draw power from the battery. I really just need to know how to set it up so it dont have to change anything for winter.

Well 1/0 should be fine IMO. Attach the 1/0 to the B+ in the engine bay and ground the GND on the battery. To make sure you wont have problems I'd do the big 3. Block to Frame; Alt to Batt(to your 1/0 wire in this case) GND to Batt (you alrdy did this when you mounted your battery)

Do all those in 1/0 and use alot of fuses, you dont want your car starting on fire.
