'06 Civic not starting
'06 Honda Civic LX, no modifications.
It was working fine last night, tried to start it this morning, and the engine isn't turning over, all I hear is clicking, and the lights on the dashboard do flash on. Also, I can't shift out of park.
According to my battery charger, the battery is full, there's no corrosion on the terminals, and the leads are attached tightly. Also, headlights and so forth work fine. So, I don't think it's a battery issue.
Now, I've got two keys, plus a valet key, so I gave those a go, since I did crack the casing on my usual key about a month back, and thought that might be in. Those don't work either, but the main key no longer works to remotely unlock the car, and the blue key light stays lit up when I try it. The backup key doesn't have this problem. I'd guess from this that the main key died, and is no longer deactivating the immobilizer system, but that doesn't explain why the other keys don't work.
Is there something that gets tripped, and must be reset before I can start the car again?

Everything's happily unlocking doors now, Daemonic possession is looking like a real possibility.
Don't have a way here to test the starter, though I can certainly hear it clicking. Borrowing another battery might be a good idea, though.

it sounds like it is the battery check the amperage on the battery on a load, i had this problem on a 2004 toyota Sequoya and tore it down to the starter just to find out that it was the battery so check the basics first !!!
I had a similar problem with my si. Battery died while parked and the hazards were on. Got a new battery and the car wouldn't turn over still. Turns out my immobilizer came on while the battery was out and I had to pay honda a 100 bucks to reset it.
Pretty weak all around but I hope that helps. Is there a clicking sound coming from the engine compartment when you try to turn it over?
Best of luck
