how would i do this..???
i got a 91 crx si with a b16 obd0 pw0 ecu.. i personally dont like the b16 so i was thinking about selling my b16 engine or trading it for a Ls motor...how would i go about this..would i just simply swap motors and be cool. or would i need a diff ecu. thanks guys ..im really new at hondas but any help would be nice..
you would need a new ECU as well.
the B18 is non-vtec
b16 has vtec.
mounts are the same, shift linkage is the same, axles should be the same as well...
which B18 is it? "A" I am assuming. So you shouldn't have to convert obd at all. it is a bit of a downgrade though... just buy the B18 block, and do LS/Vtec.

THIS
It's all in the thread, just keep your b16s trans and enjoy
Both are B series motors and swap is the same, you'll have to either let it hang or cut it since you'll have a vtec wire with no use.
