Front Suspension Gods
I have a knocking sound when making sharp turns at low speeds and sometimes when I'm at a complete stop and need to turn the wheel a couple 1/4 turns like to swing into the garage. I'm postive I have one bad upper balljoint on the passenger side front, but when I make those slow turns it sounds like it's coming from both sides. What do you guys think? What could be the problem? Thanks in advance.
What would I be looking for when I check my axles?? (first front wheel drive car i've ever had)
I don't think it would be my axles tho...wouldn't i feel something in the general ride of the car? Like it jerking at least a little bit if the axles were hitting something?
I don't think it's my exhaust hitting either, it's a pretty soild knocking sound.

is it a continuous knocking when u go around a corner or when u start off with your wheels turned?
cause usually a bad ball joint will knock ONCE when u turn and sometimes when u stop.
if there is more then 1 knock as u go around the corner your cv's are prolly giving out.

I have the knock when i turn the wheel sometimes at a dead stop and the occasional knock when starting off...but then the knocking continues How do I go about fixing it if it is the CV's?
