Default 89' civic hatchy

so, I bought this civic for 100bucks, i bought it for parts but its not in that bad of shape, it runs and drives but not well the motor revs up just fine and stays cool( I let it run for like an hour 1 time, and the ac work really well. but the tranny has no revers, and it has to be jumped if i let is sit for mor than 15 min. no matter how long it runs. all this i can fix. But when i drive it, it wobbles really bad, I havent drove it over 25mph. the steering wheel has a lot of play and it wobbles back and forth pretty bad. the tires are not that good on it and the brakes need replaced, but I dont know why it wobbles like that. my guess would be something is bent with the steering, but I dont know much about that. I am wondering if the shocks and struts would have anything to do with that also? so any help? thanks.

The wobble could be 1 of many things. From my experence though most the time its from the wheel/tires not being ballenced right or a very bad alignement. I would say that your battery is shot for it not wanting to start back up after 15 minutes. Or your alt is very weak at charging the battery.

like he said it could b the ballance..or maby one of the struts is bent that or check the wheel baring it might just b something that simple..it may not cause the wobboling but its worth the try..

Doesn't sound like an alignment problem to me. Sounds more like a bent wheel and/or suspension component. Id check that out before I went and spent money on an alignment. And while you have the front end in the air give the wheels a good shake and see if they have any play in them.

Yes!, it was the wheels, i swapped the front ones out with a spare of studded ones I had and it worked perfectly, now for the tranny with no reverse.lol. I think ill have to have someone else put in a used tranny for me. but thanks for the help.
