Default Another DIY ITB Thread...

Hi there...

I'm currently in the process of building my engine wich is basically a b16a2 stroked out to 1767cc with some Blox B cams, header and lots of brand new stuff........

So this week Ill get my hands into some Hayabusa ITBs that I found for a good price.

So I have some questions for you guys:

Witch runner lenght should I consider using?
Do I have enouth cams and compression? (arround 12.3:1)
What would be better for me, running the injectors in the stock oem location or in the ITBs? Ill probably have better atomization running them farther, but I would not like a car that idles at 2000rpm. arround 1200 would be OK as I´m gonna use 770cc injectors. (running ethanol)

do you guys have some kid of formula for me to calclate the runner and stacks lengths?

what about the vacuum manifold? Can I use that OBX blocks that are being sold on ebay or they are too small?

Sorry for the tons of questions, but ITBs are very rare here in brazil, specifically in hondas.

If you have more information about tuning to add, please do it. It will help alot

thank yu so much

if i were you, i would get your motor in your car, tuned and running with a manifold before you think about putting the ITBs on.

For sure i'll do that...

BTW. The distance between the center of each port in the b16a head is 90mm, and the distance between tha ITBs is 80mm

I know you can separate them, but can you separate it 10mm without messing with the throttle sistem?
