going turbo and want to hit 500whp
hi there,
im fairly new to the f/i game as i was more of a n/a guy. im currently running a n/a fully built with cams, p&p head, stage 3 cams, itb's, aem ems, 440 rc injectors, dtr fab header, etc... its around 220whp, but tbh i want to try some boost and 500whp
so what will be needed to acheive this goal? cams, turbo, exhaust, injectors, header, do i need my block sleeved etc...
has anyone used ssautochromes kits off ebay?
and where is the best place to buy these?
its a daily driver so i dont want unreliability, im aiming for low 11's, is 500whp too much?
thanks for your input

Hallo,
i can give you a good advice... learn the basic stuff before buying any stuff... read as much as you can and inform yourself... let the fingers from ssautochrome... there are many reports about them here around... read the faq... read also stuff about PCV and such stuff which is not in first place power related... but its important for 500whp...
with 500whp, small things will break all the time... if made right, no bing things but small things will be there from time to time... be prepared to fix small problems by your own, so learn how all the stuff works to make good diagnosis by yourself.
and whats most important, find a GOOD tuner... i.e. mase or jeff evans... or someone else who realy knows his stuff... don't look at the money if it comes to important parts... you will know when you don't do it... what you pay is what you get... thats true for f/i
hope thats helps you a bit...
Best regards
Malte.

I have to be honest with you man, not many people have 500whp dd's. That takes a lot of work, and work done right at that! DO NOT go with ssautochrome, they are known to have shitty products. Do a search. Also, im assuming you have a B18c that you will be boosting? 500whp is possible on stock sleeves, but i wouldnt recommend it. Do it right, sleeve it, forged pistons/rods (CP pistons, Pauter/manley rods, etc.) sounds like you have the head all set. I would upgrade to some 750cc RC injectors w/ a walbro 255 fuel pump. You might want to consider a FPR also. Im sure people will fill you in with some more parts to be used...i just dont have time! good luck dude
