I paid 500 for a fresh rebuilt trans. gearing is super short even fifth. was told it has 4.7 final drive. and it does have lsd, just not sure what tranny it actually is

at 80 mph im at 4500 prm. there is no vin holes where a vin plate would go. hasnt been ground off or anything either.

I bought a 99 civic si throw out bearing and a 95 gsr throw out bearing and neither would fit over the shaft for the clutch. the throwout bearing that came with the tranny was broke and after several trips to different auto part stores the closest throw out bearing they could find was for a 99 honda prelude vtec. it works but my throwout bearing is going out.

someone told me to try the 98-01 type r bearing. has anyone else ever had this problem?
