Well I just did a swap on my 90 LX, put in a JDM F22B DOHC Non vtec. Everything went smooth until we started the car and found that it idles around 2500 rpms. I've checked all the vacuum lines and sensors. Everything is connected correctly. Anyone have any ideas as to what to look for next or if anyone else had this problem. Any insight would be greatly appreciated This is my daily driver so I kinda need it on the road asap. Thanks in advanced.

Have you checked the IAC or the EGR valve?

 

Any Cel codes?

 

Don't forget to spray brake/carb cleaner around the TB & IM area to see if there's an air leak.

 

I'm not sure what you mean? Are you talking about on the outside of the intake manifold?
