Default clutch dragging / not disengaging fully?

So just finished rebuilding the trans (Carbon 3-4 syncro, new 3-4 changer, rebuilt Kaaz LSD) on my JDM B18c5 swap and fire her up for a test. Car is in neutral, let the clutch pedal out and the car lurches foward and dies. WTF?
Try it again and the car still moves but I can let the clutch pedal out all the way in neutral. At first all the drive gears had a "soft" engagment. But after going through the gears a few times, things seemed to work as they should.

Took it around the block, drove well. But I noticed that it seemed to not rev up and down as fast as it did before (Comptech 7 lb flywheel). And the car would still move just a little in neutral if I stabbed the gas to high rpms.

It seems like the clutch is dragging and not fully disengaging. But is is something I didn't install properly (Like the Clutch slave cylinder?) or does it sound more like a busted clutch / throwout bearing?

I'm a bit stumped! Anyone ever had this happen or hear of this happening? I'm going to try and remove/reinstall the clutch slave cylinder and bleed the line to see if that has an effect before I take the trans out again.
