Default Troubleshoot this: Clutch Pedal sticks

I just changed my clutch and flywheel last week and now my clutch pedal feels weird. I test drove the car after changing the clutch and flywheel and everything was fine until after a mile or so. I would step on the clutch and when I release it, it kind of gets "unstuck". I can hear a "cluck" noise and also feel it get unstuck with my foot. This happens very close to the floor, like right when the pedal begins to come up. This happens when the car is on and when it is off. I bled the clutch system and checked around the pedal area; none of the carpet is in the way or anything.

Since this also happens while the car is off, I'm thinking it might be something that is operatable (if that's even a word) even with the car off. But what could it be?

We bled it pretty good. Nothing seems abnormal with pedal pressure. The clutch seems to be engaging and disengaging like normal. Nothing out of the ordinary when driving except for that sticky feeling with the clutch pedal. It happens everytime the clutch pedal is being released from the floor.

This is a 93 Civic. Both the master cylinder and slave show no visible leaks. Fluid in the resevoir is full.

maybe there is a issue with the clutch assembly. maybe a dry throw out bearing or a pressure plate going bad.

I wonder if it'll go away after a while.

Too bad Honda charges $120 just to diagnose the problem.
