ok I have a 96 teg ls, first off I have changed within last month the followin: fuel filter & injectors, distributor cap & rotor & ignition coil, spark plugs, ac fan, oil & air filter. but I'm still havin this followin problem, when the car is cold it starts up great, as the car gets warmer and say I'm in bumper to bumper traffic, she tends to bog out and dip in rpm. so I got to rev it pass 4000 rpm, and then it's fine, but then say after drivin couple miles, and I go in the store I have to wait til the car cools down for it to start with no problem. it doesn't overheat so that's not the problem. fans work. wat can be the problem. pls help a lady out. thanks in advance.

so are you saying the car has a idling problem? and what do you mean specifically when it bogs out and dip in? a bit more detail please

 

I think she means it bogs from 3000 rpm going 4000 rpm and needs to step on gas to get it past 4k then it'll go normal without the bog. I had the same problem and for the life of me I couldn't figure it out I replace all the intake manifold sensors, but nothing, did a major tune up and still nothing, and I end up replacing the fuel rail and fuel pressure regulator, and it was fixed! Not sure if fuel rail was clogged or the fpr went bad, but it fixed my problem and it may fix yours.

 

Is it smoking? I had the same problem and it was the head gasket would heat up and let coolant get on cylinder so would not start after being warm and Idled funny.

I have changed so many things. Ugh I have yet to figure the problem out. She idles funny after bein ran for awhile, or if I let her sit for to long after bein ran. Den wen I get it started it idle low, and try rev it but it will stay low and jus die out. Pls pls help me. Somebody told me my IACV could be dirty and I need to clean that put.
