Just wanted to show off my new toy. I will also use this thread as an information post regarding the machine and its functions. I would also like to see your setup if you don't mind posting pictures. Thanks guys and I can't wait to lay down a stack of dimes tonight. The welder is being wired tonight for 230v with a dryer plug.
The reason I got the Coolmate 4 is because a guy locally was selling it for 400 dollars. Its brand new with 0 hours so I figured I got a pretty damn good deal. I know its a bit big but I guarantee you I'll never have to worry about my torch getting hot. I still need to buy a torch and dinse adaptor but I haven't decided on which one. Not sure if I should get a CK torch or weldcraft. Anyone have a recommendation?

Yeah I hadn't planned on it but after seeing that Coolmate 4 for $400.00 I couldn't pass it up, especially since its brand new. You can't find one cheaper than 690 new. Its a big mother F-er but its the best Coolmate miller has to offer. I just need a damn torch now but its all good I still got my weldcraft 17 air cooled torch to start with.

i have only used Weldcraft but people say CK, Weldtec torches are same in quality with that being said check out the WP-225 http://www.arc-zone.com/index.php?ma...roducts_id=329 it comes with 2 interchangeable 70dergree torch heads one for 9/20 consumables and the other for 17/26 consumables if you decide to buy this torch ask to replace the way overkill 70degree 17/26 head with the 180degree 9/20 head so you have a pencil torch.
