Hey guys,

I'm about so buy a S2k, and I wanna know if the HP Rims that's on my car now will fit the S2K.

The rims are 18x8, 5lug, ...on my car currently are 5x100 bolts, with an offset of +38.

In a simple answer, no...they will not fit.

Man..I love those rims. You can't find them anywhere almost.

When I checked the offsets run by the S2K guys.....geez ...you guys are running like +55, +60...that's crazy.

VW's are running like +40 at most.

Oh well....

What is the problem with it? Is it the offset?

 

Bolt pattern, Offset, Non-staggered...pretty much nothing is right.

No offense, but this is kinda funny to me...you almost couldn't have possibly picked a set of wheels more difficult to try and use, and on top of that... half a second on google could have told you that.

 

Yeah I know...I did all that ...google and all....even posted on VWvortex.....I guess I'm just in denial.....

I love..loved...those rims.

the biggest problem is that the bolt pattern is wrong... i mean people do run aggressive offests, non staggered setups but the bolts wont line up... maybe u could take off your hubs off the VW and put them on the S... that way your sick rims will fit...

 

It's not even worth it at that point.

Besides OP, those are cheap wheels...The stock ones you will get with the S2000 are much, much better

Haha, I can imagine. VW's are rather infamous for unexplainable failures of many kinds

yeah i wouldnt worry too much about rim selection for the S... there are a lot of choices...

If you don't feel like shelling out a ton of cash...just go with some Rota's...they make pretty decent knockoffs of most wheels.
