Default Overheat help please!!!

Here goes any help would be appreciated. i have a 91 hatch b18c1 swap. recently did head gasket, water pump, thermostat.. as in about 1 month ago. today as i was driving home temp went from normal to dead cold. pulled off the road coolant was on front of motor but no leak, im not stupid let it cool down and checked for the leak no drips. coolant was low in resivoir and out in radiator.. also top hose was extremely hot and bottom was norm if not a little cool. any thought on what the hell i should do would be great as it is my daily driver. thanks guys!

It went dead cold, sounds odd.

Air into the system will decrease the boil temp. Change everything that leaks. If it is still getting hot, chances are you have a clogged radiator.
