this alarm has an electrical demon im trying to sort out, i fixed the issue with the crazy colorful lights, however i cant get to the bottle of this little problem.

When you start the car with the doors closed, theres no ABS light, now, car is running you open the passenger side door, the abs light turns on, shut the door, the abs light turns off, meanwhile, there is no door ajar light being triggered at all. Drivers side does nothing, no ajar light, no abs light. Cleary this thing is wired up wrong, its a viper 300 ESP system. Im not sure how to attack this, the wiring schematic in the haynes manual gives me no path for how the door ajar light is wired on the cluster and where to. Any tips on where i should start?

no info there that helped, what i need to figure out is the relationship between the door ajar and the abs light on the cluster, and why i have no door ajar light at all. According to the wiring diagram the abs light goes directly to the abs module under the hood. So it must be interrupted somewhere along the line.

 

I think the previous owner, or whoever installed the alarm, mixed up the wires, i think an alarm professional is in order. Good luck.
