BRAKE LIGHTS WILL NOT TURN OFF PLEASE HELP

Default BRAKE LIGHTS WILL NOT TURN OFF PLEASE HELP

my brake lights on my 89 crx si will not turn off. it happened after putting outer jdm tail-lights on.i need this problem resolved asap. i did find a little blue rubber piece broken on the floor by the brake pedal.is this the thing that holds the sensor so the go off or something.please help

That is exactly why they won't turn off. Order a new one and just put something somewhat soft in there until you get a new one.

tape a penny or a dime with black tape over the hole and you should be fine...!!!

Go to the dealer and tell them you need a new brake switch.

Cost like less then $5 bucks if I remember.

It's a circle nub replace it and your done.

that happend to both my brake and clutch pedal. advance or autozone sells plastic trim retainer clips for like door and body moldings, find one that is fat enough, and ribbed and push it in the hole. mine have been like that for the past 2 yrs. OR use a short bolt and put a nut on the back of it.

I've been riding with an electrical taped piece of cardboard in there for almost 2 years.
