pretty much stock setup lsv with stock gsr head....has anybody long drove there lsvtec motor and how far and is it a good idea...im thinking bout doing a 5 hour drive...any inputs?

 

should be no problem as long as it stays cool and its full of oil.
i've been driving my b20 w/GSR head with a JRSC daily lately ( so 3-3.5 hours/day) no problems yet.

 

well, its is a honda motor lol, keep the rpms low and keep an eye on the temp qauge, and make sure she is full of good oil and you should be ok.
my brother just drove his built ls/vtec form here (tacoma) to la and back and it did just fine.

 

Should be fine.
