okay so i have a 89 ef on f2 autolife coilovers 2 front collars taken off with a skunk2 camber kit...i hit the shock towers on every bump. im going to cut them but i wanted to see pictures on what other people did to theirs (where they cut them). thank you
someone bought a car that this was done on a long while back. its not exactly safe. why not just buy coilovers that drop that bish the way you want it? it would be safer that way. and you live in california, would they pass that thing for inspections?
I agree ^^^ Depending on where you live, cop will harass you for being toooo low, and you'll get a fix it ticket.
it happened to me once. had to raise it back up to 22in. from the bottom of the ground to the center of my head lights
...was 19in. before i got the fix it tick. i technically wasnt even low!! damn southern cali cops. get you for anything.
I have skunk2 coilovers and there set all the way to bottom I just cant figure out how to post a pictures I could email it too you

look in the "slammed car thread" a few people did it in that thread 1 was bagged and one had dro's if i remember correctly
yeah man you just need to chill out and dont trash your car just cuz you wanna be super slammed. my car has skunk2 sleeve overs on tokiko illuminas and mine sits way lower than yours does thats why i said it didnt look like it was all the way down.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure you can get up to 4 inches of drop with Skunk2 Pro C coilovers. And I think the ride height is adjusted by changing the length of the shock, without necessarily having to adjust the springs. I wouldn't risk the structural integrity of the vehicle. This is coming from someone with not much experience, though, too. Just putting my two cents in.
????so thats why my 90 si has that freaking square cut into the front driver side shocktowers i was like to the guy that sold it to me,"WTF happened here?" he is like i dont know i got it like that now i need someone to weld in a plate in there...........stupid....
you sure your uca's arnt hitting the pinch weld in the fender well? how far do you have them adjusted out?
dude, i put egay coilovers on my car and it sat almost on the ground. i got pics to prove it too. and they were up all the way. not sure why, but it was. the car tucked 13" steelies. here's a pic from behind, thats the cat in the pic. and damn, noone uses the suspension thread everyone bitched for a week to get. wtf?
