take some pictures!! It would help us help you out alot

But ill just take a wild guess at where ur talking about and say to do a compression test.
Help you figure out where the leak is. It might be your headgasket or cam plug seal.
Goodluck!

To put stock head on all ya have to do is remove the ls vtec line and plug it. Oh and some people talk bout changin the water pump cause of timing belt length but I never changed mine.

What head gasket did you use putting the head back on?

It's probably because you used your LS water pump. If you use a 22 tooth vtec pump, you have to use a GSR timing belt

Did you re-use headbolts too or have ARP head studs? You followed the correct order for torquing the head too right and in stages?

It's because the non vtec pumps have 19 teeth on them so it is spun faster. When you rev high like vtec motors, the pump spins too fast and pushes air bubbles which cause cavitation.

if your doing a ls/vtec conversion you need a vtec water pump. from reading this forum i understood that you used a ls water pump for your ls/vtec. FYI that is incorrect if thats what you did. use a vtec water pump and use the timing belt for that water pump. and always make sure your head is torqued down properly before even driving it

I did not use a gsr pump on either of my builds and have had no problems. Car never runs hot. Even at high revs
