Default High pitch

So i just recently got an ipod touch. My problem is i have a jvc headunit with a usb port on the front, so when i connect my ipod touch via usb it makes some high pitch annoying noise sometimes when im listening to music. Is there a way to fix this

does the pitch change with engine speed (does it do it with the engine shut off)? volume? you might try unplugging the cable and reconnecting it to the ipod. most likely you have a defective radio, since it only does it on one source. is it still under warranty?

If it is intermittent, "annoying noise sometimes" then I would guess a connection problem, try another USB cable. 94
