reversing K swap mount relocation
I'm looking at getting a del sol, only problem is that it has been made ready for a k-swap, as in the right side trans mount cut out and the ?? (unsure of manafacturer) K mount put in. I have no intention of putting a K swap in cuz of budget restrictions, but do have a B swap to put in. My question is, can I take the K mount off and weld another stock one back in, and will this be a reliable solution? Maybe I could just measure two pieces of acceptable thickness metal and weld them in? of course making sure the bolt holes are measured at the correct height.
this is the dumbest question i have ever herd if you can cut the original off to weld the k bracket in why in the hell wouldn't you be able to weld the old one back in
yeah if i had the money i'd go K for sure, but money be a little tight these days, especially with my first baby goin to be here in august. so my b20/vtec swap is goin in instead.
