Hi I have an '88 DX sedan that blew its motor, and now has an '88 Si engine sitting in it. I've yet to start wiring it but I found instructions here, http://www.geocities.com/fourgcivic/zc.html . In the Chilton's manual it says that one of the holes one of the that one of the changed wires is supposed to go to is for A/C. I'm also confused as to what distributor is supposed to go in there, is it the DX or Si? Those instructions I found say that all the plugs from the DX harness will plug into the Si engine but the distributor plugs are different.

 

u need a Si or HF dizzy
u need to change plugs to whatever u have home.....

that should be really it.....

Well the chiltons read
123456 while the diagram is probably going by Honda 13579
78910etc .................................................. ............ 246810
looking at the back side of the harness where the wires come out.

the Diz is HF or SI and you can also use 90-91 teg any of them will work may need to do some work to make the teg fit though.

buy a helms manual.no confusion.chiltons wiring sux-i say this from personal experience.get one you won't regret it.
