battery cut-off

Icon6 battery cut-off

i am putting a battery kill swicth in my car but according to the scca rules it must kill the battery conection and the alternator's abillity to preduce power wich wire going to the alternator would kill power with having to put a switch on the 80amp direct battery cable?

Essentially you need to make sure your alternators power output goes straight to the battery, and the battery feeds the car. Then your switch needs to cut the power from the battery and the rest of the car.

I reccomend the 200amp solenoid method instead of the wired switches though.
