cx vs si tranny (eg)

So i have a sohc zc engine with the original cx tranny (Eg) ,and the gears are very long giving the car poor acceleration.

would swapping in a si or ex tranny give more acceleration?

its ex/si tranny u want... stamped B000 instead of A000 like u have.
