hi all
i have a 99 si (canadian). after startup, as soon as i shift into first and give it some gas, the gar begins to bog/studder, so i can just barely have my foot on the gas pedal. it happens in all gears. about 5-10 minutes after taking it EXTREMELY easy, the problem goes away completey. engine is stock.

anyone have any ideas of what it could be?

Is the CEL ON?

What condition are the plugs, wires, cap, and rotor?

You also might want to check the coolant temperature sensor.

 

my car was doing this and it is now wont start lol, any other problems beside the one you said?

cel light is not on
plugs and caps seem to be in good condition, i will re check and maybe replace for the hell of it
rofl beautiful. nope, no other problems, once it goes away the car runs great
as said above will re check but they look good...

i had this same problem eventually my car ended up not starting, i changed the plugs, wires, and rotor , even the fuel regulator, but it ended up being the ignition coil. after i changed the ignition coil it ran like a champ.
